Anyone, lady or gentleman, interested in participating in the prayer shawl ministry is welcome to join us in the church hall after the 12:05 p.m. Mass, from ~ 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm on the 2nd Friday of every month. Materials recommended are size 11 or 13 knitting needles or size 9 or 11 crochet hook and 555 yards of type 4 and above yarn. Feel free to bring blanket/shawl materials you have used in the past. If you’re interested but think you don’t knit well enough or “make too many lumps,” come anyway! We can help! A prayer shawl wrapped around you represents a hug from God!
